Main Objectives

Howl Creative Studio’s Ana Silveira (brand strategist and web designer) wanted to increase sales of her Ultimate Notion InstaPlanner.

My Approach

Ana thought she wanted to mention her planner in a couple of blog posts, but I encouraged her to try a sales funnel so she can educate her clients about branding and build excitement for the planner. It will save them so much time and hassle.

Ana’s target audience is millennials who own creative small businesses. They find organizing social media marketing overwhelming while running creative businesses and keeping up with active lifestyles.

The emails I wrote in Ana’s voice are conversational, relatable, and enthusiastic. We also used Ana’s dogs for the Aww Factor.

This is the process flow with the buildup for the surprise increasing as the funnel is propelling toward the end:

  1. Ana designed an Instagram Branding Checklist as a lead magnet.

  2. When people opt-in to emails to download the checklist, they will receive a welcome email asking if the checklist is useful and explaining in more detail how to use it effectively.

  3. Following that, subscribers will receive an email with tips for enhancing a customer’s brand experience.

  4. The next email includes reflection prompts to help business owners develop their voices and brand positioning for their Instagram audiences.

  5. To wrap up the educational portion of the funnel, Ana shares how to treat ideal clients like best friends and shares actionable tips to achieve it.

  6. The final email explains just how valuable the Ultimate Notion InstaPlanner is and how it benefits small business owners and is tied up succinctly with a strong CTA.

Ana is prepping the design for the checklist and email, so she hasn’t used the funnel yet but she did say this:

“JANAAA!!
You are AMAZING! I LOVE it! Thank you so much - I can't wait to put this email funnel into practice!!!”
