Main Objectives

James Little from Destination Toolbox was juggling content for several businesses and organizations in Branson, MO. Sparky the Trolley was one that he wanted to give special attention to, but finding adequate time was a challenge. Much to my 4-year-old’s delight, James asked me to write two monthly content posts highlighting the small businesses of Historic Downtown Branson in the areas served by Sparky the Trolley. Sparky is Branson’s answer to free public transportation, which prevents some traffic congestion, serves as an affordable mode of getting from one place to another, and is friendlier to the planet.

My Approach

Sometimes the independently owned small businesses in Historic Downtown Branson are overlooked because they’re sandwiched between the shows and amusement parks on HWY 76 and the trendy shops and restaurants of Branson Landing. Many of these small businesses have been passed down from family member to family member for generations.

I focused on informational yet friendly posts that entice visitors to this quaint section of Branson and also highlight Sparky the Trolley.
